Yesterday we went to a BBQ organised by two friends. They have a beautiful countryside house.
When our friend came for us to give us a ride, I noticed that it was very windy and decided to bring a cardigan with me. Although I was wearing sandals and shorts I thought that it's July and that it can't get really cold. I was proven totally wrong.
It was so windy that at one point I was wishing I had been wearing a jacket, trousers, socks and closed shoes. I was not the only one. Men were shivering as well, not only the women who would usually feel cold more easily.
The food was absolutely delicious though. We left at about 01:30 am and came home to cover myself with a thick blanket.
What are the odds right that an evening in July would be so cold in Malta?

I have to admit, I'm always prepared for the worst weather but I guess that's inherent to the country I live in ;)
Wow, I had always thought Malta's climate is like ours, that is tropical.
I know we get these random bursts of wind in summer. But apparently it's going to be scorching this weekend so I guess we ought to make the most of the change =)
@Hi Tess! I also hope I didn't catch a cold. I was really trying hard to cover myself as much as I could but it was difficult with just a cardigan and no socks :(
@Hi BT! Summer in Malta is reaaally hot. Terribly hot but that evening was really something awkward. Lucky me hehe.

Hello Wen! Yesterday evening we were having dinner with friends by the sea and yes it was utterly cold. It felt like wearing summer clothes in spring! I just wanted to go back home and cover myself with a nice and cosy blanket.
We have had some crazy weather in the states as well.
My thoughts exactly Zen :) A warm blanket is what I had in mind whilst having the BBQ that day.
