I am so happy that I decided to write about my insomnia problem yesterday. I received so many good ideas and advice from my friends that I decided to make a list and share their ideas with all of you: Again, I am very thankful to all :)
Kiwi
Hot chamomile
Clear-calm state of mind
Writing lists, writing down thoughts
Hot bath
Relaxing music
Don’t drink coffee, cheese or bananas before going to bed.
Having not-easy-to read books on my bedside table
Yoga
Cardio-exercise
Meditation
Getting up and going back to bed when feeling drowsy
A bit of red wine
Warm water with sugar (I also thought about warm milk)
Old Mystery science theatre TV shows
Valerian root
Alcohol can make you pass out but it wakes you up a few hours later.

On another note, do you remember that some days ago I mentioned my mother’s garden? Some of you asked me to show some pictures. Well, I asked my parents to send me a couple but unfortunately they don’t have a digital camera so I couldn’t post any pictures of my mom’s garden. However someone had taken some pictures of their house and my parents sent them to me! There are only two of the garden and the guy didn’t take pictures of the flowers or medicinal plants my mother has. But at least it gives an idea of the garden :) Hope you like them.

I LOVE the pics and the list of things to help you sleep. :-)))
Your parents' garden looks SO nice with a dog in it he he he...
A good helpful list for us insomniacs!
And I love the garden pictures too. What a green, pretty garden it is, especially with the dog on the stepping stones!
Very nice garden! Nice memories of that place! ;)
I really like the new avatar, too! :)
Wow! Amazing garden, and I'm glad you're sleeping better.
No Counting of sheep?
I find that when I am sleepless nothing really helps, but lying in bed tossing and turning is defintely not the way to go!
A book helps!
Lovely garden too.... but we want more photos now!

Oh, I would love to live in that house with a big garden, and a cocker spaniel thrown in! It's a tropical garden too, with the same kind of plants that we can grow here.
BTW, I love your Avatar today. The safari suit makes you look so sporty and adventurous!
CIAO DELIRANTE!!!!
I SOGNI

@Hi Sandro, I will check your blog later on :)
@Hi Blur Ting! Glad you like the avatar ;) Yes, it is a nice tropical garden, isn't it? :)
@Hi Lina! Thanks for sharing your nice poem!
Have a nice weekend!
I always find reading helps. Of course, not those books that I can't put down but really boring ones. Anyway, nice garden there. Kind of miss having a garden on my side of the world now since almost everyone lives in apartment here. :(
@Hi "Tot's mom" :) I also miss a garden like that of my parents. Most people live here in flats and sometimes I find the cities to be too cramped.
Have a nice weekend,
